Celebrate America’s independence in Eureka Springs All Season
Fireworks, parades and more. Eureka Springs has a knack for doing things differently so a visit during July 4th promises to be fun but Eureka Springs celebrates all summer long with unique events, attractions, dining, shopping and more. Here are some ideas for events on July 4th but EurekaSpringsOnline has ideas for things to do all summer!
Eureka Springs is known for its parades so you won’t want to miss out! The parade starts at 2pm and features balloons, floats, local Eureka characters and kids on their bikes. Kids are invited to deck out their bikes, dress up and ride in the parade. If you want to be a part of the parade you must meet in front of the Eureka Springs Library by 1pm.
Best View for the parade: Most people bring their chairs and stake out their places in Basin Spring Park next to the Basin Park Hotel. If you want a good view of the parade but prefer a smaller crowd, consider going further up Spring Street.
It’s Eureka Springs Birthday!
Join locals in celebrating the founding of Eureka Springs. Costumed characters portraying Eureka’s most famous citizens will tell their story and birthday cake will be served. Basin Spring park at noon.
Enjoy fireworks over Beaver lake from your boat or Ventris Trails End Resort. Holiday Island also has a fireworks display. Both begin at dark.
