November Means Music headlined by the resurgent Folk Festival, in its 72nd year and with the energy of a first year festival. Its only a few days away. Will I see you there?
Folk Festival 2019 kicks off on Wednesday, November 6th
Events include, the Local’s Folk Fair where you can dance to the tunes of Will Carlisle at the Auditorium, the Singer Songwriter competition and finally music continues that night on Chelsea’s stage with Reverend Hylton…you remember him from his amazing OzMoMu2019 show!
Thursday November 7th
As Folk Festival rolls into Thursday we are happy to be hosting the annual Barefoot Ball in the Ballroom in the Basin Park Hotel. While we overlook Eureka Springs below we will be dancing barefoot to the lovely sounds of Pierce Edens who is known to be “Folk-Rock and “psychedelic-grunge” according to Allmusic.com. The Barefoot Ball has been taking place in Eureka Springs for over 70 years and we look forward to continuing the history another year!
Shoes are optional…..warning if you choose shoes you will be paying more than the folks that choose no shoes.
Friday/Saturday November 8th & 9th
Folk Festival will continue into the weekend with Friday Headliner Ozark Mountain Daredevils and Headliner Marty Stuart on Saturday. Both of these shows will be at the historical Auditorium!
All told, Eureka Springs will be full of music for the whole weekend. 12 Stages with over 28 performances.

For the rest of November we do not want to leave out the popular fall Diversity weekend the first weekend of November that will be hosting Diversity Band and Iris at Chelsea’s Corner Bar. Other venues in town will be participating with drag shows, karaoke and so many more colorful events. http://www.outineureka.com
On November 17th Eureka House Concerts will be hosting a Renee Janski at the Unitary Church on Elk Street. Cool venue and ever cooler band! Renee Janski began playing piano at the age of four, and joined her school orchestra in sixth grade.”
Chelsea’s will be finishing out the month with regional favorites Lou Dog with their famous Sublime Tribute on the 16th. Dustin Arbunkle and the Damnations on the 22nd and Earl and Them on the 23rd

Soon after the sun sets on the 72nd annual Folk Festival, its time for Oz Productions to get busy. Mark your calendars now as I am preparing for the next two big things.
First, The Downtown Dance Party for New Year 2020 will be at the Basin Park Hotel. Fresh this year you can expect a BIG Dance Party to favorite tunes and an electric atmosphere.
Then, in January its time for OzMoMu 2020.
It is our 7th year and this festival is going to be GREAT.
